Last updated: 3 August 2026

BrokerWisely is built on data minimisation: you can read, compare and use every tool on this site without creating an account and without telling us who you are. The only personal data we ever hold is a contact email that you yourself choose to give us. This notice explains that in full, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act).

What we collect, and why

There is exactly one place on this site where personal data can enter: the optional "email me" form. If you submit it, we store:

DataPurposeKept for
Your email address (only if you type it into the form yourself)Solely to send you the material you asked for and to reply if you write to us. It is never used for unrequested marketing, never sold and never shared for advertising.Until the purpose is served or you ask us to erase it, whichever comes first.
A page tag and timestamp (which page the form was on, and when)So the reply matches what you asked for.Same as the email it belongs to.
The network address of the submissionAbuse prevention only: it rate-limits automated spam so the form stays usable. It is not used to profile you.Not stored on your record at all. It is used only for a temporary spam counter that expires within an hour and is then gone.

That is the complete list. We do not ask for and do not want your name, phone number, PAN, bank details, holdings or trading history. The broker simulations run entirely with pretend money and store no personal data.

What stays in your browser

Preferences such as your light or dark theme choice are saved in your own browser's storage and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Measurement

To understand which pages help and how fast they load, the site may run standard, aggregate usage and performance measurement (page views and web performance timings). These measurements are about pages, not people: we do not use them to identify you, we do not enrich them with personal data, and no personal data appears in our server logs.

By default this runs without any analytics cookie or identifier: no tracking cookie is placed on your device and no advertising identifier is collected until you give consent through an affirmative choice, as India's DPDP Act requires. You can decline, and declining keeps every tool on the site fully usable.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

  • Access. Ask what personal data we hold about you (at most, the items in the table above) and receive a copy.
  • Correction. Ask us to correct an inaccurate email address.
  • Erasure. Ask us to delete your record. Send the request from the email address concerned and we will erase it and confirm.
  • Grievance. If you believe we have mishandled your data, write to us and we will respond. If you remain unsatisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

For any of these, use the contact email shown in the footer of every page. There is no charge, and consent given through the form can be withdrawn at any time with the same effect as erasure.

How the data is protected

The site is served over HTTPS, the contact records live in an access-controlled database reachable only by authenticated administrators, and no personal data is written into logs or shared with third parties except where the law requires it.

Children

BrokerWisely is an educational reference and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a child's email reaches the form, a parent or guardian can have it erased using the process above.

Changes to this notice

If what we collect ever changes, this page changes first and the date at the top is updated. Because the site collects so little, we expect changes to be rare.
