How we work
Editorial policy
These rules apply to every page, article, chart and data label on BrokerWisely. They are fixed: a page that cannot satisfy them does not get published.
1. Education only, never advice
BrokerWisely explains what things are and what they cost. It never tells you what to do with your money. Concretely, no page may contain a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, apply, subscribe or switch; a rating, score or ranking of a broker, fund or share; a target price or level; a forecast of returns or listing gains; or any assured-return language. Educational tools that project numbers do so only from assumptions you set yourself, and label the output as a what-if.
2. Brand-only authorship
All content is published under one identity: BrokerWisely Editorial. There are no personal bylines, no guest posts and no sponsored authors. Publishing under one accountable brand keeps responsibility in one place: if a page is wrong, the brand is wrong, and the brand fixes it.
3. Sourcing by category
Every factual claim must trace to one of four sourcing categories: official offer documents, public exchange disclosures, officially published fund data, or figures computed in-house by the shared calculation engine. Articles state which categories they rely on. The methodology page describes how each category is collected and refreshed.
4. Checked before it ships
Drafting can be assisted by software, but no draft publishes itself unchecked. Before an article appears it passes a fact check against the underlying data (a number or date that cannot be traced to the source data is rejected), a language check for the rules on this page, and the site's standing review controls. Data pages render directly from the verified datasets, so the words and the numbers cannot drift apart.
5. Plain language
We write like a knowledgeable friend: short sentences, defined jargon, worked examples in rupees. Fear and hype are both off limits; a fact that needs excitement to land is not being presented honestly. Simulations are always labelled as training tools, never passed off as the real apps.
6. Editorial independence
Editorial content is not for sale. No broker, fund house or issuer can pay to change a number, a description or the order in which anything appears. Factual data is presented identically for every company we cover, and nothing on a data page varies with any commercial consideration.
7. Corrections
When a reader or a check finds an error, the fix goes into the underlying data or article promptly, and materially wrong articles carry a note saying what changed. To report an error, use the contact email in the footer with the page link and the official figure.
The short version
Facts you can check, from named categories of official sources, written plainly, under one accountable brand, with no advice and no paid influence. If a page ever falls short of that, tell us and we will fix it.
