DP (Depository Participant) charge
A flat per-scrip fee when you sell delivery shares.
When you sell shares held in your demat account, the depository (CDSL/NSDL) and your stock broker levy a flat DP charge per scrip, regardless of quantity. GST applies once on top. It's why selling one share can cost almost the same as selling a thousand.
